Nahrung der Raupe
BUSCHMANN et al. (2014) berichten, dass die Art in Ungarn in Sandflächen zwischen der Donau und der Theiß an Stellen mit viel Kochia laniflora vorkommt; Kochia prostrata wird im Süden Russlands als Nahrung der Raupe vermutet.

Faunistik
Locus typicus ist Schanghai in China. Die beiden Paratypen stammen aus Korea und Ungarn (Dünen 10 km östlich Szaboszalla). BUSCHMANN et al. (2014) können eine Reihe neuer Daten aus Ungarn melden: "Hungary, Örkény, 2008.V.31. (3 ex), GP 13675 IgR., det. Baldizzone, leg. Ivan Richter, coll. Ignác Richter; Lakite-lek, Világos-hegy 2009.VI.6., GP 15981 IgR., det. Ig. Richter, leg. & coll. Szabóky; Szentmártonkáta, Felső-Tápió völgy, Nyírfás-ártér, 2009.VII.27., GP 16011 IgR., det. Ig. Richter; Farmos, Sóvirág-tanösvény, 2011.VIII.7., GP 19345 IgR., det. Ig. Richter; Tápióság, Nagy-rét, 2012.VIII.5., GP 19374 IgR., det. Ig. Richter, leg. & coll. Buschmann". Angaben gibt es auch aus Bulgarien und dem Süden Russlands.
