Dear Mike,
I think, you have seen the open-access-paper of ZLATKOV & HUEMER (2019): Remarkable confusion in some Western Palearctic Clepsis leads to a revised taxonomic concept (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae). - ZooKeys 885: 51–87. doi: 10.3897/zookeys.885.38655. https://zookeys.pensoft.net/article/38655/download/pdf/352418
I asked the authors about several specimens in Lepiforum, and Boyan Zlatkov answered to my questions. My question number 3:
The answer of Boyan Zlatkov:
"The third moth is Clepsis sp. [...]. I would not say anything more for the moths two and three without dissection, otherwise it would be just a speculation."
Is a dissection possible? [for the answer please use Forum 2]
Best wishes,
Erwin Rennwald
