Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
BALDIZZONE (1985: 114): « Derivatio nominis. L'espèce est dédiée à mon excellent ami l'Ingénieur Ingvar SVENSSON, de Kristianstad (Suède), spécialiste bien connu des Microlépidoptères de Scandinavie. »

BALDIZZONE (1985: 114): « Holotype ♂ (PG Svensson 2903) : «T. lpm., Björkliden, R. subalp., 19.7.1958, Ingvar Svensson», coll. Svensson, Kristianstad (Suède). » — Paratypen: 7 ♂♂ und 2 ♀♀ aus Schweden und Norwegen.

Nach SWISSLEPTEAM (2010) ist die Art auch Faunenbestandteil der Schweiz (Graubünden (ohne Südtäler)).
