On the page Leptidea duponcheli in BH the first photo shows a female laying egg on Dorycnium pentaphyllum. In Provence, and especially in the northern half of département Var, this shrub is the main foodplant of L. sinapis. On the other hand, all certain records of egg-laying of duponcheli in France and in the Balkans are on perennial Onobrychis. For these reasons, I wonder wether the identification is correct. Has the shape of vein 1on the fore-wing been checked? This is the only certain feature to identify the females of second brood of duponcheli.
